Ahoy! Manga readers hope you all doing well there. Today we are not gonna talk about a genre that is I guess has been part of many successful mangas like One Piece, Naruto, Detective Conan and much other good stuff. We are talking about the " Comedy" genre and today we are gonna recommend some really good pieces of art which u might like reading.
First of all, it was very difficult for me to choose only five when there are so many I found them funny to read. So will add few more recommendations at the end. And it is my personal opinion so don't get offended😅.
So let's start with the manga whose anime and manga both are too good seriously this manga is pure comedy.
1. Gin Tama
Gin Tama is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Hideaki Sorachi with a rating of 8.59 on mal. Both anime and manga of Gintama are top-notch and manga is almost adapted only a few chapters have left. This is the kinda manga that every manga reader can enjoy.
The story of Gintama starts when aliens invaded Japan and took all their jobs. And then they confiscated everyone's sword. So what does a hotheaded former samurai Gintoki do to make ends meet? Will he take any job if that means losing his dignity or he fights back.
2. BAKUMAN
Bakuman is a presentation of two great manga artists Obata Takeshi and Ohba Tsugami it has a rating of 8.42 on MAL. Bakuman is a story about a High School Student Moritaka Mashiro who is a very skilled and talented artist but has no idea what to do in life. Takagi his classmate tries to convenience Mashiro to become a manga artist for his stories leading to Mashiro's disagreement citing his late manga artist uncle who dies of overworking.
3. Grand Blue
Grand Blue is a Japanese manga series written by Kenji Inoue and illustrated by Kimitake Yoshioka. Both Manga and anime are full of comedy and very enjoyable. The story is very simple it's all about diving.
Grand Blue has a rating of 9.04 on MAL which is pretty huge. Iori Kitahara is a freshman starting his new journey at Izu University in a beautiful city near the ocean Izu. He will be moving into his uncle's diving store "Grand Blue" There he finds the beautiful ocean, beautiful women, and men that love diving and alcohol. Will Iori be able to live his dream college life?
4. GTO
This manga is surely pretty underrated but it's a gem. The story and plot are just outstanding everyone should give this manga a try because it's very underrated nowadays.
Eikichi Onizuka is a former biker gang member who is trying to become a High school teacher with a class of students who is determined to be expelled and an administrator who doesn't trust him. Using the brash and unorthodox methods he picked up in his youth, Onizuka manages to reach through to his kids and help them with their problems.
GTO is the winner of the 22nd Kondoshan Manga Awards for best Shounen Manga.
5. One Punch-Man
I guess almost every one of you heard of OPM well it's a very famous manga no doubt and a good one also. The Blend of comedy and parody is just perfect in this manga no doubt this is a basket full of comedy and joy.
After rigorous training of 3 years, Saitama has become very powerful and can knock or kill anyone with just one punch. He decides to put his strength in a good direction and become a hero but he gets bored very soon because of no worthy opponent. Can Saitama finally find an evil villain strong enough to challenge him? Follow Saitama through his hilarious romps as he searches for new bad guys to challenge!
