Sup guys today we gonna talk about a manga whose anime trailer is getting good hype. Well for some people it's their favorite Shounen manga. We are gonna talk about Chainsaw Man Manga and sharing my opinion about it.
Chainsaw Man Manga is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Tatsuki Fujimoto. Chainsaw man is an Action, Adventure, Demon, Shounen manga. It has a total of 11 Volumes and 97 Chapters and it was completed on Dec 14, 2020, and it has a rating of 8.68 on MAL. That's enough for a basic introduction I guess.
Denji is a simple guy with simple dreams of spending his life with his loved one but things don't always go according to our plans. Denzi has debts that his father has from Yakuza bcoz of these debts Denji is forced to kill devils using his pet devil Pochita as a weapon. During his one contract, he is killed by a devil. Pochita his pet devil merges with his dead body and grants him the power of Chainsaw Man. Now he is offered to work at Public Safety Bureau and now more fierce enemies are waiting for him. Now how Denzi fight and achieve his dreams is a fun ride.
STORY
The story is very good and straightforward a very good story for a Shounen Jump. Action Scenes are very fun to read and watch and there is also some good Humour. The past story of Denji helps us to connect and understand him better. The plot of the story is very suitable to the story there are also many twists and turns throughout the series. The monster element is a key part of this manga according to me.
ART
Well, many people criticize its art style but I think Tatsuki did a good job at detailing during the action scenes. Chainsaw man is blood and gore and detailing it is very fine. His work is simple plus highly detailed an example of this u can see in character designing.
CHARACTERS
All characters are very detailed and you can relate with them like Denji's transformation from simp to a stud is very fun. Character building is no doubt this manga's strongest part like all of them are very relatable and there are no complexities. It's different from normal shounen jump characters no doubt.
OVERALL
Overall it was a new experience in the shounen jump for me and a good one. From story to art I liked everything and it's not boring at all. Anime adaption made me very excited and after seeing Mappa's work in the trailer literally its gonna be epic no doubt. If you are bored of Shounen Jump try this out u will enjoy this. This is not only about the action it's comedy plus heartbreaking also no spoilers well u will find out when u read it.
